Mark Irwin Mayor - City of Stirling, Mayor Filomena Piffaretti - City of Bayswater, and Mayor Terresa Lynes - City of Gosnells, to publicise next weekends 'Mayor's Throwdown'.

In a fun and friendly competition, mayors from across Perth will face off at Scarborough Beach on Saturday, April 5, in the Mayor’s Throwdown.

Part of the Red Dust Obstacle Course Race, the two kilometres challenge isn’t just about fitness.

It’s all in good fun and for a great cause, with proceeds going to charity.

The friendly dare was sparked by City of Stirling Mayor Mark Irwin, and quickly accepted by fellow mayors, including Bayswater’s Filomena Piffaretti, Canning’s Patrck Hall, Gosnells’ Teresa Lynes, and newcomers from state parliament.

Catch the mayors in action at 12pm, Saturday, April 5, as part of the Perth Beach OCR weekend. The event is sponsored by the City of Stirling.
