Homicide Detectives have charged a woman with murder following an incident which occurred in Maddington on Tuesday 27 August 2024.
It’s alleged at around 8.20 pm, a 49-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man – who were known to each other – were involved in an altercation at a residence on Dunnell Street.
During the altercation, the man received a stab wound to his leg before the woman left the scene. Upon arrival, officers performed CPR on the man before he was taken to Armadale Hospital by St John WA, where he sadly died a short time later.
Police conducted a search of the area and located the woman nearby at about 8.50 pm.
Following inquiries, the 49-year-old Collie woman was charged with one count of ‘Murder’.
