Members of the Gosnells Toy Library are working around the clock to help local families through these uncertain times.

Each year, the library participates in one of Australia’s biggest nation-wide charity campaigns – the Nappy Collective.

The initiative provides clean, unused disposable nappies for struggling families in the lead-up to winter.

The library launched its own Nappy Collective campaign earlier this month, accepting donations from people across Perth.

With only a few days remaining, the group has collected more than 1400 nappies.

Canning Vale resident and Gosnells Toy Library committee member Caris Morris thanked all those who have donated to this year’s campaign.

“The response has been quite phenomenal…we’ve been blown away by how many donations we’ve had,” she said.

“A lot of our members have been able to drop off the nappies that their kids have out-grown.”

Community members can still visit the library’s premises, and drop off their donations, this Saturday, between 9.30am and 11am.
