Jarrahdale is galloping closer to earning the title of Western Australia’s first Horse Trail Town, with construction now underway on 28 kilometres of new and upgraded trails designed to cater to riders of all levels.

The works include a 5km ‘green’ classification trail, ideal for beginners or those seeking an easy ride, alongside a more adventurous 23km ‘blue’ classification trail for moderate-level riders.

To enhance the experience, a brand-new trailhead will be established, complemented by minor infrastructure upgrades such as float parking, holding stalls, and improved toilet facilities.

This transformative project is a collaborative effort between the Parks and Wildlife Service and the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.

It has received a significant boost through $1.15 million in funding from the Federal Government over two years.

Ready to saddle up? The horse trail network begins and ends at Jarrahdale Oval, located just 1 km north of the town centre.
