A new mural will be painted on the Armadale train line near the entrance to Perth Station.

Armadale train line commuters working in the city will soon have a new urban art mural to view as they enter Perth railway station.

The mural will be painted in the coming weeks between Wellington and Moore Streets.

It is part of the Perth Transport Authority’s Urban Art program, which plans to reduce the amount of graffiti vandalism on public transport infrastructure.

Urban artists Too Much Colour Productions will paint the mural.

The final concept drawing was yet to be mocked up but the PTA said it would be a colourful, welcoming entry statement that would feature “large-scale fantastical characters”.
