The new Armadale Station has lift-off.
Four platform buildings for the new Armadale Station have now been constructed off-site, with the first successfully lifted into place this week.
A custom-designed lift made it all possible, winching the first building weighing 24.6 tonnes in place with precision.
Metronet has said that the modular construction method used on the Armadale Station means better quality, faster delivery and a safer work environment.
