A baby was in the back seat of car allegedly being driven more than 50km/h over the speed limit by a p-plater in Forresdale yesterday.
Traffic enforcement group officers impounded the man’s Holden Commodore for 28 days after they saw the driver allegedly travelling at 133km/h along the 80km/h stretch of Armadale Road near Weld Street at 2.15pm.
When officers stopped the 19-year-old Armadale man, it was established the driver was on his p-plates and had two passengers including a nine-month-old baby.
The man now faces a reckless driving charge.
