Police have charged two men over an alleged crime spree, which included an armed robbery at a service station in Gosnells last week.
The spree began when a Tapping home was burgled sometime between 7pm on June 23 and 7am on June 24 when a number of items including a white 2013 Hyundai Veloster coupe were allegedly stolen.
Number plates were then allegedy stolen from a vehicle at a car yard in Leach Highway, Melville sometime between June 24 and June 27 and the coupe’s number plates were found at the scene.
About 10pm on June 27 a man entered a service station in Illawara Crescent Ballajura armed with a machete and allegedly demanded cigarettes before fleeing in a white coupe.
About half an hour later a man entered a service station in Albany Highway Gosnells armed with a machete and allegedly demanded cash and cigarettes.
He left in a white vehicle.
About 9.15pm on June 28 a man entered a service station in Currambine armed with a machete and allegedly demanded cash and cigarettes before leaving on foot.
A 45-year-old Alexander Heights man and a 25-year-old Clarkson man were both charged with three counts of aggravated armed robbery and one count of stealing a motor vehicle.
They appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on July 1.
