Police are asking for witnesses of two violent incidents in Canning Vale last week to come forward and assist their investigation.

Jacob Cummins, 17, died after he was struck by a car while walking on Eucalpytus Boulevard at 4.15pm on December 7, about an hour after a fight between schoolchildren on Ranford Road escalated into a stabbing in McDonald’s.

The driver of the car, Aya Hishmeh, has been charged with murder and four counts of attempted murder.

A 35-year-old man from Canning Vale was arrested on December 11 charged over the McDonald’s stabbing.

A Mobile Police Facility will be at Livingston Shopping Centre, near McDonald’s, from 2pm until 6pm today.

Anyone with recorded footage of the incidents has been asked to come forward.

Police will be able to download footage onto their own storage at the MPF.
