The Second Arenacross Club Championship at Lightweight Motorcycle Club in Whitby on March 27 was what spectators had been waiting for.

After a few weeks off the riders were very eager to get back out on the track.

The first gate drop saw the 50cc Auto Class, a reasonably big group.

Strong competition was seen in all the races, with only one winner at the end it was taken out by the undefeated Caleb Tatt.

The demo riders took to the track next with lots of enthusiasm.

During the Junior Lites ride, Brayden Upperton took out the win in the 125cc class and Travis Pitter took the 250cc class.

Caleb Tatt had another victory in the 65cc 7-U10 class, while Jax Wilkinson took home a convincing win in the 10-U12 class.

The night then moved to the Veterans of the club, which saw Michael Summerfield soar to a podium finish.

In the senior MX2 class it saw Liam Crabtree and Evan Browne taking out Clubman and the Pro Class.

With an impressive turnout of 85cc riders they were separated into 85cc 9-U12 and 85cc 12-U16 which made for two action-packed races back to back, Oskar Thomas took his place on the top of the podium in the younger group whilst Luca Romano charged victory in the 85cc older group.

Coming to a close, the night finished off with the last senior MX1 classes, with new riders joining in on the action.

Every week our podium awaited eagerly for winners Ben Upperton, Nathan Higgott and Evan Browne taking it home in the clubman, Intermediate and Pro categories respectively.
