The community will finally get a chance to check out the new Roleystone Theatre at an Open Day this Sunday.
The Roleystone Theatre group will be running a sausage sizzle as part of the event, and visitors can go on tours of the building and speak to members about the journey of the building and about the theatre group itself.
Festivities will be on between 11am and 1pm at the Roleystone Theatre at 587 Brookton Highway, Roleystone.
While you’re in the neighbourhood, you could also check out the new digs of the Roleystone Karragullen Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade.
The brigade will be also hosting an open day on Sunday from 10am to 2pm.
There will be an official opening of the Van Uden and Winstanley Memorial Garden.
And throughout the day there’ll be raffles, fire truck rides, face painting and balloons, and bushfire ready displays.
If you’re feeling peckish, there’ll also be plenty of food on hand, with a sausage sizzle, and ice cream and coffee vans.
The new state-of-the-art brigade building is situated at 59 Springfield Rd, Karragullen.
