A new resident has made himself known in Serpentine.

Quo is a Clydesdale cross Welsh Cob who arrived in Serpentine last week and already has locals amused.

Multiple members of the community have caught him with his rug hanging off the front instead of secured to his back.

Posting online, one local said she managed to get the rug off.

“He was standing in the tug with his head forced down and had got himself in a right pickle,” the post said.

“He was disinclined to have it back on, so I hung it on the gate.”

This was the second of two posts within 24 hours, with owner Asha Gearing commenting both times apologising.

Ms Gearing said Quo is a spunky rug-destroying pony, which has given her family an interesting week.

“It has been an interesting first week since Quo arrived for my son Clayton,” Ms Gearing said.

“He is a lovely boy with a wonderful temperament who likes to break things so we bought him a horse ball.”
