Santa needed his Weet-Bix after a busy week

Santa has been a busy boy this past week, with sightings in Byford and the City of Armadale.

On Sunday, he accompanied members of the Byford Volunteer Fire Brigade around Byford, Cardup and Darling Downs.

With five trucks on the case, Santa delivered 3500 bags of lollies to local kids in just under five hours.

17-year-old Jordyn Harrison was getting into the spirit of Christmas.

For the first year, locals were able to keep a track of Santa’s journey with an interactive map in their air-conditioned homes, which was a welcome addition.

Santa has also been slowly making his way around the City of Armadale accompanied by his Armadale Kelmscott Lions Club helpers.

On Monday he was greeted by an excited horde at Shipwreck and Explorer Parks.

Plenty of Christmas cakes were on hand for local families to stock up.

And mums and dads were able to snap up one of the Lions Club’s famous Christmas cakes.
