The Armadale Kelmscott Lions Club will be escorting Santa around the City of Armadale with their annual sleigh run a little differently this year.
Due to the popularity of the runs the club has decided to escort him to selected parks within the city where he will be for about 30 minutes before moving to the next park.
The run will be over eight nights visiting parks in Kelmscott, Camillo, Seville Grove, Seville Central, Armadale, Brookdale, Harrisdale, Piara Waters plus the same street route around Roleystone as last year.
Santa’s Helpers will be distributing lollies to the children and selling Lions Christmas cakes and puddings.
The club has once again enlisted the support of local scout and guide groups, as well as the Armadale Police Rangers.
The Lions club was also appealing to the community to consider joining them as a member or to possibly start a new club in Harrisdale and Piara Waters.
