The Woodland Grove leaver’s carwash on Sunday was a huge success, keeping the students very busy and happy.
A lot of locals went down to get their cars washed and support the year 6 students.
The students managed to make a total of $680 and had fun washing the many cars that came through their temporary car wash.
Throughout the year the leavers committee will continue to raise money by selling icy poles for term one and organising more fundraisers such as sausage sizzles.
Money raised will go towards discounting the price of the Year 6 camp, which is a tradition for leavers across Primary Schools in WA.
The leavers committee says the students are looking forward to their camp at Forest Edge in Waroona in June.
Year 6 camp gives students the opportunity to bond and spend quality time without their phones.
Students will also learn team-building skills and make memories to last a lifetime.
