A sausage in a bun at a local park in Byford gave voters within the Darling Range electorate a chance to talk to a new parliamentary voice.
Recently sworn in Member for Darling Range Alyssa Hayden met with locals on Sunday to discuss any issues or concerns they had in their own community.
Mrs Hayden said she felt it was important to make sure all residents within the electorate knew she was accessible.
“Sharing a few hours on the weekend over a snag or two was the perfect environment to have those, at times, hard discussions and I was delighted that so many people chose to share their concerns and time with me on the weekend,” she said.
Mrs Hayden said one of the most common concerns was the cost of living.
