Staff and students at a local primary school are hoping members of the community will keep November 30 free on their calendars for a very special event.

Serpentine Primary School will be playing host to its inaugural Christmas Twilight Market which promises to be a massive hit for people of all ages.

Associate principal Kelly Forder said the event would double as a chance to showcase some of the fantastic local talent among the Serpentine Jarrahdale community.

“We will have performances by Sally Jane, Aerial Addiction, Sophie Scott, a fiddle band and Serpentine Primary School Choir, as well as yoga and Muay Thai demonstrations,” she said.

The event will feature about 40 stalls and food trucks as well as rides and entertainment including a high ropes course, inflatable obstacle course, bouncy castle and bungee trampolines.

There will also be student displays from all year levels, face painting and photograph opportunities with Serpy cow and Father Christmas as well as a Christmas movie under the stars.

Ms Forder said the event will also provide the community with the perfect opportunity to support the school in its ventures to fundraise for its new adventure playground areas.

“This event has been organised by our amazing board members, wonderful P&C and staff members of Serpentine Primary School,” she said.

The event will be held at the school oval from 4pm to 9pm on November 30.
