Mason, Braydan and Shane said they loved the new park facilities.

Local families and visitors to Redshank Park in Martin can now enjoy a new playground and picnic shelter, thanks to a recent $106,000 upgrade to the area.

Gosnells mayor Terresa Lynes said the new playground and shelter were welcome additions to the park, particularly for local families.

“I know how often members of the Martin community use this park and I am delighted to see this upgrade completed, so that families can regularly enjoy these new amenities,” she said.

The upgrade was the result of a 2023 petition led by local residents, who called for new play equipment to be installed at the park.
