Lynwood resident Reema Monga is still celebrating after being crowned Miss Charity Australia 2021 last month.
Ms Monga has competed in a series of high-profile beauty pageants over the past two years, including the 2019 Maxim Australian Swimwear Model of the Year – National finals.
Overcoming COVID-19 restrictions, the 29-year-old has spent the past few months carrying out fundraising efforts across Perth.
“I do a lot of fundraising and charity work, I have been doing those things all my life,” she said.
In just her third competition, Ms Monga impressed the Miss Charity Australia judges and her fellow contestants.
Held over two days, the pageant saw Ms Monga excel in four distinct rounds – interview, fashion wear, fitness wear, and evening gowns.
“It feels surreal to win…it didn’t believe it for the first few days,” she said.
Ms Monga will spend the next 12 months representing Miss Charity Australia while conducting even more charity work.
