A woman was rushed to hospital with serious injuries this week after she was flung from her vehicle.
The crash occurred at about 1pm on Tuesday 14 August on Mundijong Road near Lightbody Road in Mardella.
Police allege the woman drove off the road and ran into several trees before her vehicle was spun 180 degrees.
She was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital with suspected neck, spine and internal injuries and remains in a serious condition.
Mundijong Road was closed in both directions between King Road and Lightbody Road for several hours while authorities cleared up the debris.
This was the second serious crash in Mardella in less than a month.
The other crash occurred on July 14 where two cars collided at the intersection of Stanley Road and Wright Road.
A woman in her 20s was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
