A woman and her two children escaped harm after fleeing a horrific fire that left another woman dead in a Gosnells home.
Police have confirmed there were four people inside the Mills Road West residence when the fire began at about 6.40am this morning (Monday June 20).
Department of Fire and Emergency Services extinguished the blaze a short time later.
A woman and her two daughters aged ten and 12 escaped the fire without injury but the body of a second woman, who was believed to be aged in her 30s, was found inside the home across from the City of Gosnells Civic Centre.
The dead woman has not been formally identified.
The blaze also caused significant damage to the house.
Inquiries into the fire were continuing.
